Hi, I'm Joe, and I am the owner of Northern Image Co.

To me, Northern Image Co. is more than a brand - it's a family business.

In 1996, my dad founded Southern Image Embroidery in St. Pete, FL (hint: that's how we got to Northern Image Co.). I’ve been making shirts, jerseys, and swag since I was 11 (shoutout to all my Little League teammates who might have ended up with a crooked number!), and after 13+ years in the real world, it was time to come back to my roots.

So why start Northern Image Co. instead of just joining Southern Image with your dad?

Well, let me tell ya.

In 2025, my amazing bride, our two kids, Frank the cat, and I packed up and moved to Metamora, Michigan. We had a good run in Florida but were ready for something new and we’ve loved everything about small-town life up here. After leaving the corporate world it was time to take on a project I am passionate about - and that's how Northern Image Co. was born.

While the name is new, the experience definitely isn't. My dad has been in the embroidery and custom apparel business for 30+ years, and I grew up around the industry. That experience is a big part of what I want Northern Image Co. to bring to the table: quality products, good communication, and someone who actually cares about how your brand looks when it leaves our shop.

What do we do?

Simply put, we help businesses, schools, teams, organizations, and just about anyone else take their logo and turn it into stuff people actually want to wear or give to others.

Embroidered hats. T-shirts. Polos. Workwear. Promotional products. Event apparel. Scrubs. Team gear. Company swag. If you can put a logo on it, there's a pretty good chance we can help you with it.
